Artist Spotlight

Hello! I’m Alyssa Lopez, the woman behind all of the artwork you’ll find here on my website. I’m a late 20s, NJ native with a lifelong passion for art. It’s always been my dream to pursue art professionally, and that dream has finally come to life.

While art has always been a huge part of my life, getting here was a long journey. I began my professional career at FIT, but quickly realized it was an industry I didn’t want to work in. So I decided to continue my steady, mundane pharmaceutical career path — until last year, that is. I finally realized that art truly held my heart, and it was time to take it off the back burner and begin a professional career as an artist.

My favorite outlets include sketching, pen & ink, and painting. I specialize mostly in acrylic paint, and love to experiment by painting on different materials other than canvas, such as wood palettes and more.
